A Rush Of Blood To The Head

I really have to update more than once a month... back in August I think I was posting EVERY SINGLE DAY! Granted, I was off school, had nothing better to do and the resulting posts were pointless.

Midterms ended about a month ago, and I passed all except physics (which nobody passes) and economics. Finals are in about 2 or 3 weeks I think, and then I have the last two weeks of August off! I'll be heading up north for sure to enjoy some sunshine and time with the family. Then it's off to co-op again at the airport for the fall, and I'm counting down the days! Don't get me wrong school is great, but not having to do assignments and exams is even better. Plus I'll be back home and able to visit the old Malvernites.

In rez things have never been better. The entire floor has bonded overnight, which is crazy since last term we were all so quiet and anti social. Now, we have to keep the noise down every Wednesday (which has been dubbed WOWW for "West One Wasted Wednesday") since last time the 4th floor don came down and got angry since she could hear us three floors up! :S She complained and ever since then we hadn't WOWWed at all. We had alternatives like a movie night or a trip to the Bomber (UW's campus pub) but you can't beat a good WOWW.

Speaking of WOWW, I'm a little tired since last night was the unofficial revival of the weekly tradition. Just getting back together last night was worth the exhaustion I'm experiencing today!

On the fitness front things are going good. I've got a regular gym routine set up now plus I'm doing some strength training for my poor, weak arms. I'm starting to love that morning after soreness; it means it's working! I also signed up for a yoga class and a figure skating class this term. The yoga's pretty good actually, but the skating was forced to share the ice with hockey! If there's one thing I know, it's to NEVER, EVER mix hockey with figure skating off the ice much less ON the ice! Blasted Campus Recreation doesn't know what they're doing sometimes!
